NBA Power Rankings: Week 2

Hello NBA fans!

No, I did not forget about my power rankings. I’m just a busy man.

It’s been an interesting first week and a half of the NBA season.

Let’s not do a big intro this week. Here are my power rankings for week 2 of the NBA:

Biggest Jump: New Orleans Pelicans 3-0 – The Pelicans jump up nine spots this week after starting the season 3-0. Anthony Davis is playing at an elite level and the role players around him are fitting in well. MaybWhe they will be good this season.

Biggest Drop: Cleveland Cavaliers 0-4 – The Cavs drop nine spots this week after starting off 0-4. No LeBron James. No wins. I thought they’d still be decent with Kevin Love and other veterans but they look terrible.

  1. Golden State Warriors ⇔ 4-1 – A great team started off 4-1. What’s new?
  2. Toronto Raptors ⇑(7) 5-0 – Kawhi Leonard is off to a great start as they are undefeated and even beat the Celtics.
  3. Boston Celtics ⇓(2) 2-2 – They haven’t quite found their groove yet but with time, this team should figure things out. Too much talent.
  4. Houston Rockets ⇓(3) 1-3 – Same as the Celtics here.
  5. Milwaukee Bucks ⇑(12) 4-0 – The Greek Freak is putting on a show, leading this team to 4-0.
